The retired delivery drivers we lost were probably mid 50's. Retired early to enjoy life.Or I have heard that they try to go out and do some 20 year oldand break a hip and never recover. Might not want to try snowboarding or trail running up in the woods at 65 years old.
Thank you----I have for all of my 22 years of retirement. Sure ---some people die in their 50's and some in their 90's. It's just the law of averages. Retirement has little to do with when you die. If you die at 50 chances are you would have died anyway--- retirement or not.
I knew a driver that died right after his retirement party, he had over 35 years, tons of stock, money. All for nothing.
