He'll probably just get transferred like they usually do. Few years back they fired 2 on car sups for allowing dead p/ups to remain in board, yet center manager suddenly seemed not to know what went on.... he was transferred! He wound up returning back to the same center as center manager again! Wonder if he actually thought people forgot how he threw all his sups under the bus. I am starting to think corporate promotes unethical behavour.

Funny thing is the 2 suits that got canned were actually pretty fair people. One is a Manager at dhl now as we speak, um maybe fed ex ground, been so long I forgot. I believe the dead pickups were about a hundred between 7 drivers.

Now you want to compare a couple p-timers that steal a cell phone to ftime sups and managers that are career employees, not a fair comparison. Do you really think if i had connections with the mob that i would allow you to keep typing away?
I've seen quite a few career drivers that stole major amounts of merchandise from us over the years. Can't believe you have not had your share. Then throw in all the issues we had with COD money when we took cash and drugs and that was quite a few drivers I saw over the years.

We have had our share of management busted for thefts but we have also had our share of major theft in other job functions and overall a lot more theft from the hourly ranks. Perhaps they don't arrest hourlys out your way because they are protected by the chicago mob.

Sorry, I don't agree. He came to UPS the morals that he was brought up with.
I think its disgusting that this type of person slithers amongst us in society at all.
The fact that he was actually within the ranks of UPS, only brings it closer to home.
A few will always slip through the cracks. I Hope he gets the conviction and punishment he needs.

Yep, thats him. Always liked how he would stand watching as the trucks left eating his bowl of cereal! I do not understand what the purpose of a center manager is. Another one, lets refer to him as JF seems to walk around all the time looking for a new place to chain smoke cigarettes.

This forum discussion was started about the DM in the NY area that got greedy and got bagged. Everything about this guy is hush hush but alot of people did see him getting taken away by the Feds. Just out of curiosity, how come the suit that fondled the girl buttocks with a pen and the union employeees from the Foster ave Zoo made the papers with thier phone scheme but Joe P didnt? imo, there are many more to fall after he sings like a bird. I have said it before in previous post, Alot of action happens in NY with UPS employees (management and union) and every single one makes the papers but this one.
My guess is the boys that helped him move up the ladder so quickly are keeping things quiet as not to bring heat upon themselves. The higher up the manager, the sneakier the tactics. Think back at any previous supv you had with any bit of honesty......where did they end up? Either quit or are still in the same place.

You have no idea what you are talking about- the DM of Metro NY did not get arrested and is not being investigates by the Feds. He didn't embezzle any money. It is so sad that these rumors are the only thing you all thrive off of and they are not even true. The only reason you didn't like that DM is because you are lazy and you hated that he made you do your job...... Get another job if your that miserable. Why are you still here?
