Starting pay for Next Day Air and Second Day Air employees is increasing.

UPS is raising wages for some employees starting in September.

Beginning Sept. 5, starting pay for Next Day Air employees on the night shift will increase to $21 per hour, up from $18.50. Second Day Air employees who work during the day will be paid $20, up from $16.50.

In 2020, UPS increased pay for package handlers and other entry-level operations positions from $14 to $14.50 per hour.

makes sense due to air service being more lucrative than ground....ground is a little more than breaking even whilst air ( international et all ) is making the money......
