It amazes me how so many people won't join the union because they think "the company will take care of me". This thread is a perfect example of what a fine job of that they do.

How is it the PT sups fault, that he booked two guys on the same week, you AGREED to move to this week, now you want to work? Please explain that.

The person with seniority bumped you off the last week of July. You agreed to take the first week.

By law , the union still has to represent you the same as if you were paying dues. Go talk to the steward or the business agent for your local. THEN JOIN the freakin union.
