Time for Saturday ground to end. Go back to a five day Work week let part timers deliver next day and two day Saturday air. Several full time drivers have already died of heat stroke this summer The moral in most centers is very low from forcing people in on Saturdays and Mondays suck as well..

The newbies full time can work every Saturday...DEAL! Stop with the heat cryin'!

Drivers will work 4- 10 hour days, Monday through Thursday. Bottom seniority will work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 12 hour shifts. Get paid for 40.

I didn’t say it made sense.

The company must look at weekend delivery as a loss leader. In my building they let drivers work a sixth push on the Saturday preload.

I don’t work Saturdays and will be retiring soon. So it’s not a issue for me. I just think the company would be better served keeping there employees happy.

If the company was really worried about keeping the customers happy they will not be cutting routes constantly more will they be getting rid of dropboxes.

I’m not sure with the new business model most of these big companies have that they’re even remotely worried about customer satisfaction. Although I was never under the illusion they cared what we thought as employees.
