I have 3 weeks of vacation that I meant to take this year but before I knew it , it was december, when would I get paid for those unused weeks? End of the year? Cant get a right answer

They should renew on your seniority date, so take them after peak.

Might depend where you are. Here, everything resets Jan 1 so if we have days left by the second pay in December they are in your check.
