No worries...he would probably do it the Carey way and will not submit it for vote if it is not beneficial to his membership.

The 22.4 language is history, every driver will enjoy the same rights and wages. No more minor league classifications. This 4 year progression will be on the table also, I would like them to reduce it to one year on all full time positions.

I expect that the main issues will do with retirement and health and welfare plans. Far too many indicators that the Company will be wanting to bail out of their defined pension plans. I expect that the Company will want to provide a matched 401k for their part timers instead of a traditional pension plan to replace their defined benefit plans.

The final settlement with the Central States bail out is a positive and should provide a platform for a better equity for all our pensions.
