Exclusive: Wal-Mart may get customers to deliver packages to online buyers
Wonder if the customers will be doing driver follow ups also.
...or shopping for their own homes...
So these people are going to be delivering my packages: Funny Pictures at WalMart Photos Awesome !
April Fool's day isn't for a few days. Please tell me this is an early joke.
This is the funniest website!
They better not try that at our local Walmart. The online buyer will never see their product.
I get these in my e-mail all the time.......they are Walmartians!!
They currently use FedX .
Now this could really hurt them.
For the millions if dollars in planning, research, customer "discounts" for deliveries and the several members of full time staff necessary to do this, they could put a Walmart "Togo" delivery truck at every store with a designated 9/hr employee that they already have to make deliveries.. This is crazy
Togo makes sense. Customer delivery equals so many problems that the team that dreamed this up should have listed it under "busted".
For important business developments like these, I like to ask the Rev. Jesse Jackson to weigh in. What say you Reverend?
Comment from Jesse Jackson
Maybe they can do call tags on their way to the store.
That's his best comment ever, I think
