He apparently broke the week up and used 3 days already. His option week is paid at 4 1/2 hours per day or 22 1/2 hours for the week.

We can absolutely do that.

Both FT and PT can break the option week into individual days in Local 177.

In ours we can split a week into induvidual days once you hit 4 weeks vacation.
