I think it'd be pretty cool to live in Japan for a while someday. Have heard the Japanese can be pretty xenophobic though.

They have their equivalent of neo-confederates. I was there for a week, and one of the places I visited there was a guy driving a van with a loud speaker spouting xenophobic rhetoric. I only knew that's what was happening because my buddy explained it to me, as I don't speak Japanese. Apparently they are known to attack foreigners from time to time.

Would probably be easier for me if it was! Unfortunately it isn't and IWBF probably thinks I should have voted for Trump because of it (he urged me to prior to the election). I don't get to play on the official Democratic team here. LOL

I think Trump had to go but also don't have any certainty that I'll be enjoying the ride over the next few years. If Nikki Haley is the Republican Presidential candidate in 2024 she'll win suburbia and I'll vote for her too.
