I'll bet that speech was repeated nearly nationwide. Memphis probably sent out an email to the managers telling them to tell the couriers their numbers all suck regardless. They'll pull any trick in the book.

So someone in the loop may not work the next day? Who's gonna replace them? A cargo handler? A CSA? Wow that'll get 'em great numbers. Put someone on the route that doesn't know it and that'll show 'em!
