The employee didn't know how to drive a manual and as a result he crushed a coworker.

Can't drive a stick at 19 years old, SMH.
The employee's dad should be sued for failing to teach his son how to be a man.

This is a crazy story. The owner of the vehicle shouldn’t even be in the equation.
if we had a better public transit system like europe this is completely avoidable and people will have more leisure time to go on internet or read books in transit

Points to consider;
The vehicle's owner left said vehicle with the Service Dept.
The vehicle's owner had no actual say in who within the Service Dept. was to actually to do the authorized work.
The employee's actions caused the injuries.
If the court finds the vehicle's owner at fault, the dealer's insurance company will be paying the court ordered fines.

Law in a lot of states makes the title holder ultimately responsible. Drunks & :censored2:s used to put minors behind the wheel if anything went seriously wrong, and say they weren't driving.
