You could get a divorce while you are part time making part time wages and pay her the alimony & child support. Then go full time and hook up with a young hottie get a sports car and an friend-350 us a kick ass bachelor pad. Just imagine going to Vegas four times a year and living the high life.

From the wife's point of view , which we are getting from the husband's post is that she works thurs-sun and he is in addition to being a being a pre-loader, a SATURDAY air driver. That Saturday might be a tough day for her.

Yes, think of the children(a rather over-used phase, I admit) . But in this case, if you and/or wife are opposed to marriage counseling, the reluctant one(s) should do it for the kids. I don't agree that people should stay in a bad marriage for the sake of the children, but the parents should do what they can to determine if it is, indeed, a bad marriage with no possibility of becoming a good one.
Go to counseling!

FT pkg driving doesn't get better.. It gets more difficult each year..And as a bottom seniority guy you will get the pitts and have no work days..Make the 40k and be happy.. Take another part-time job outside the company..Support your wife's plan fully on her school...Don't let her bolt with the kids.. You can have it all. Play your chess game wisely. Know her response to your every move. She wont leave you if you are play the great dad, supportive husband of her career..Your 40k and benefits are worth 55k a year...

I say grow a pair of balls, you are not going to become a doctor overnight so live with what you got! Do the work, come home, do the work. It's called life. Stop being a pusillanimous.
Also, there's lot of differences between a man and woman, both in their needs and wants, moods, etc..... Whoever harps on "both sexes are equal" bs line, is a maroon and needs to be whipped.
