Most voters will judge the President by how secure they feel about their jobs and their homes. They haven’t had to start worrying about either until very recently. And that didn’t have to happen.

Not only did it not have to happen, but this whole trade tariff spat probably hasn’t really moved the ball forward on much of anything that was a concern re: China in the first place.
