Link to rumor of 22.4? Not the least bit surprised if they actually do get rid of it. They can’t keep the required amounts of 22.4 pee center, they just keep quitting anyway

All part of the plan to replace $40/hr delivery drivers with $20/hr drivers. Also splits up a large voting block of UPS Teamsters. Each side with their own agenda.

Yeah the 22.4 are basically Amazon drivers with good health benefits, but a lot of them are quite ignorant to their own union rights so they’re easier to fire over anything, especially when you have awful union stewards. And now the pre loaders are making $1 more then them, so there’s even less incentive to be a driver. It’s an absolute mad house

We haven't had a PT bid into delivery driving in years. Our PT starting rate is $17/hr. I agree 22.4 is UPS way to compete against Amazon. Right now the ratio is what? 25%? I see that going up every contract until RPCD are as rare as $40/hr PT sorters.
