Massive UPS Distribution Center Begins to Rise in Former Cradle of Bayonne Economy – Tap into Bayonne

With the rumble from the former military buildings settling, the first walls of a massive new UPS distribution center have started to appear.

While its closure appeared to offer the space to bring many of those jobs back to, as well as a site for future housing development, suffered a setback when the housing market collapsed in 2008, causing lawsuits over previous contracts for development there.
