Moderna is a private corporation. There's a big difference between government funding and government innovation. I wouldn't crow about that as a government achievement either as those vaccines have proven ineffective at preventing infection or transmission of the virus.

But did the government develop the iPod, iPad, or other Apple inventions? This is what you aren't getting. The government can fund lab research for military or space applications. The government doesn't create products that greatly benefit us in our daily lives. Those are invented by people seeking to make a profit. Capitalists. By the way government innovation is done by private government contractors. The defense industry.
You're still not getting it. The government didn't invent the vaccines. Private companies did.

Funding doesn't invent it. The major pharmaceutical companies were onboard because of the huge profit potential. So they gladly jumped on it to produce it. Capitalism.

Yes although not bound by any traditions of man, I do find it and many other religious/ spiritual traditions to be profitable in my relationship with the God.
That is between the individual and God. I judge?and condemn no one.
I believe is not for me to differentiate.
I also believe that is between the person and God.
The spirit of God has me convinced that apart from Jesus all humans miss the mark(sin).
