Clowns playing legal games in order to get time off are screwing other Teamsters. Please quit if you can't hack it
But the guys who show up everyday and can only do 100 stops on a 50 mile route, they’re consummate professionals.

It’s almost like the previous generation of Teamsters set the bad example by modeling this exact behaviour.

Your example does not equate.

The driver doing the 100 stop route is exactly what he or she is dispatched with daily. Does not affect the other routes.

100 stops on a business route can be a very heavy day
That person is trying to imply that the driver is tanking the day. We all know management. That ain't happening.

Now, the driver that habitually calls in, yes, he or she is tanking everybody's day.
