And you buy it, while singing his praises, while never realizing he’s simply a capitalist capitalizing on his writing skills, turning them into wealth and fortune, while you become poorer. Chris Hedges is the person in the Bible talk about with a plank in his eye.
your country deindustrialized and now 50% of your country is scraping by

its obviously wrong to say govt is always bad
It’s more wrong to assume government is always good. Anytime people have that much power and control. Very little good come from it except for enriching themselves. That’s why our form of government is a republic people were supposed to come from the general population and spend a short time in office and then go back to the regular lives. Career politicians have ruined that.

50%? Seems very high. Most of the people scraping by are doing so now because the government has coddled them and given them free stuff and they don’t think there’s any repercussions for their lifestyle. Once again, demonstrating to you, the dangers of trusting government to ensnare you while they’re telling you they’re going to help you.

im not saying govt is always good either lol.

i agree with the bold but think of how that applies to the capitalist economy as well.

is it a coincidence you've never heard of worker coops or consequence of capitalist propaganda?

All news is propaganda. What’s your point? you have to be smart enough to decide what’s true and what’s not. There will always be sheep and true believers on every side.

Come to America and see how many new cars are parked in driveways. how many new cell phones each family has with a payment plan, how many subscriptions to entertainment online they have, how many big screen TVs they have. Etc. etc.. most people scraping by now or doing so because of their poor spending habits they are following their governments lead, debt is good. It also paralyzes a population.

actually americans are shifting towards used cars because they cant afford new cars anymore. and soon they wont be able to afford used cars, and cars will be like planes where you rent a seat.

median income is quite low i think its $15/hr or so. and costs are high like housing, healthcare, transportation, college, etc.

This is true and this is the problem with crony capitalism slowly turning into Socialism. And you’re arguing for Socialism I’m arguing for pure capitalism. It’s interesting. You still can’t see the forest through the trees. It’s always some form of government controlling manipulating and devaluing your life even if it wasn’t supposed to be that way.

I have and how do you know that’s what people want? Once again, you are pushing your agenda on someone else. Even here people have the ability to join a union if they want to sure it’s not easy, but if there’s a real desire, they have the freedom to do so.

no half of america is near poverty

this is why you voted donald trump and a black president which were highly unusual
Where did you get the idea that half of America is near poverty. Big difference between being impoverished and being working poor.

$15hr on 40 hrs is over $31k a year. The median household income in the U.S. is over $70k. That varies by state and city.

El Salvador has come a long way in recent years thanks to a president who isn't soft on crime. We could take weeks discussing all the countries in Central America. There's no neat little pkg tied up in a bow which Bacha seems to want. But the idea that everyone is living in shacks without plumbing or electricity only applies to a minority of the population to varying degrees depending on the country.

Reagan and his team are responsible. Granted some places are trying but they pretty much created a lot of this chaos we see in South America

all kinds of factors affecting peoples ability to join a union. you have anti union laws like taft hartley. right to work states weaken unions.

how do you know people really want slavery or political dictatorships? its common sense power corrupts. most ppl dont like work but ironically in north america they might like capitalism because they havent connected the 2. depending on the age in america, a majority dont like capitalism.

Really you’re just demonstrating your inability to understand the fact that you run to government for all your answers is what is tying you down. Political dictator ships, slavery, Taft Hartley. You just quoted a form of oppression by your masters. A political ideology, and a law passed by government. What entity could change any of those things? Another government? Not likely they will just institute their own form of these things.

you gotta get away from your fixation with govt.

you should be fixated on concentrated power - economic power and political power.

this is just reaganism.

ppl might not want certain things but they dont act in their own best interest and are stuck with economic and political dictatorships. ppl might want things for the wrong reasons like propaganda.
