Direct deposit after transfer

Hey I recently was promoted to full time driver from pt sup and I'm not getting my checks via direct deposit. Is it the same process as being hired again? 2-4 weeks for direct deposit to kick in? My on road sup doesn't know.

I walked up to my manager and said hey, heard they are hiring drivers off of the street. I'm interested. He set up an interview with the divisional manager and a week later I was off to integrad.

I'm curious, when a manager crosses the line and becomes a driver what about his employee ID number ? Did he have one before and if so did it change when he became a driver?

Management personnel have employee id numbers. Mine stayed the same. Lost all of my vacation though.
