I have heard everyone is working black Friday at UPS except local 804 and local 177 who have it in their supplements that they can't be forced to work a UPS holiday. And black Friday is still a UPS holiday.
But probably only until the next contract.
You will make more durring peak,than the new drivers.

That's true...I already make more an hour than new drivers. Not trying to brag...I earned every penny, just like you vet drivers have. But yes.....I'm hoping to break 1200 a week during peak....and stuff my 401k and save some dough. Luckily...my financial advisor is awesome!

To be blunt, I hate shopping, and since my kids are older (27 and 30), I know the cash will be appreciated.
To be honest, my two sons are 34 and 32. I give them time whenever they ask for help. And every year I try to find some kind of fitting gift, however silly, for Christmas for each.
Cash is the easy way out.
