Voters in Wisconsin beg to differ.
(CNSNews.com) — Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, chair of the national Democratic Party, says despite the Republicans’ victory in Wisconsin Tuesday, Democrats “will not cede an inch in Wisconsin to Mitt Romney” in the general election.

But as CNSNews.com previously reported, Wisconsin Democrats, in the runup to Tuesday’s recall election, criticized the Democratic National Committee for being slow to send resources to the state to boost the Democrat running against Gov. Scott Walker.

“We are frustrated by the lack of support from the Democratic National Committee and the Democratic Governors Association,” a top Wisconsin Democratic Party official told The Washington Post in mid-May. “Scott Walker has the full support and backing of the Republican Party and all its tentacles. We are not getting similar support.”

She really is a :censored2:.

Via Weekly Standard:

Disclosure forms reveal that Democratic National Committee chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a member of Congress from Florida, previously held funds with investments in Swiss banks, foreign drug companies, and the state bank of India. This revelation comes mere days after the Democratic chair attacked presumptive Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney for holding money in Swiss bank accounts in the past.

“Americans need to ask themselves, why does an American businessman need a Swiss bank account and secretive investments like that?” the DNC chair, a chief surrogate for President Obama’s reelection team, said on Fox News Sunday two days ago. “Just something, a thought, that I’d like to leave folks with.”

It’s been a consistent theme of Obama’s reelection strategy: Attack Romney for foreign investments he held, especially in Swiss bank accounts, “to try to promote his wealthy, out-of-touch businessman persona.”

But disclosure forms reveal that in 2010, Wasserman Schultz invested between $1,001-$15,000 in a 401k retirement fund run by Davis Financial Fund. As the fund discloses, it is invested in the Julius Baer Group Ltd. and the State Bank of India GDR Ltd., as well as other financial, insurance, bank institutions.

A review of salary data filed with the Federal Election Commission (FEC) revealed that the DNC paid female staff members $501 less on average than male staffers in July 2012, a difference of 15 percent.
The DNC’s 119 female employees earned $3,342 on average in the month of July, compared to $3,843 for its 113 male employees.
On an annualized basis, the average female DNC employee would earn roughly $6,000 less than her male coworkers.

How could anyone not like DWS? She has such a likable personality.
Via WaPo:
President Obama’s Chicago team is not thrilled with Democratic National Committee Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, according to a new ebook from Politico’s Glenn Thrush. He writes that the Florida House member “grated on Chicago” from the start and Obama aides thought she “struck too harsh a partisan tone” on Sunday shows.

The campaign stopped scheduling her for so many TV appearances, and when she asked why, Obama staffers showed her a focus group study on Obama surrogates’ effectiveness. She ranked last.
