Once again, an IDIOT with a gun and a permit. "Certain gun owners" believe that the answer to all their problems rests with the barrels of a gun.
In this case, this maroon, has an argument with a principle, and in the middle of it, flashes his gun permit and states that he has access to guns.
A "veiled" threat that needed to be taken seriously. His permit should be revoked and all his weapons confiscated.
These are the idiots who dont need access to guns. Cowards with big mouths.

Arresting the man and taking his gun was probably an overreaction, but by the same token he was way out of line for mentioning his guns during the argument.

Maybe the principle asked for some ID , thus Goodwin showed his gun permit .
Given the fact that Mass. issues drivers licenses to illegals with no background checks,
but in order to get a gun permit one has to pass several background checks, ( local issuing police & the Mass. State police ), and proves citizenship . I have shown mine several times when asked for an ID .
The story only quotes the principle side , which was very left leaning.

Two Men Use Girl As Human Shield — Until Her Father Guns Them Down
A St. Louis couple is likely thankful to have guns in their home after they were forced to use them to defend their daughter against two men Monday night.
The men, one of whom had an extensive rap sheet, confronted the couples’ 17-year-old daughter after she stepped outside of the house to go to her car, reports the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Cortez McClinton, 33, and Terrell Johnson, 31, held a gun to the girl’s head and used her as a shield as they entered the family home, where a five-year old child was also present.
The girl’s father and mother witnessed the abduction, and both retrieved their guns. When McClinton and Johnson entered, the father fired several shots, hitting both men. The girl’s mother fired one shot but missed.
Johnson died at the scene. McClinton was wounded but was able to scramble off.

A message for all pro gun control liberals:
If you want gun control, let your feelings be known. Join other liberals who are proudly putting up signs in the front windows of their homes or on their lawns that say: "This home is a gun free zone". And if you really want to 'show your pride', illuminate your sign.
Why not stand up proudly for your anti gun beliefs and let your neighbors, strangers and virtually anyone else passing by your house in the middle of the night know exactly how YOU stand on this issue?

How do you know what people think? Are you in their head? Or is this just an assumption? Your posts seem to indicate you assume everyone is less intelligent than yourself. Perhaps some of your assumptions are incorrect. Just a thought.
