It's not illegal to own one but it is illegal to leave it on the gun. You are to use it and take it off each time you change a mag.

The people pushing "universal background checks" know they don't work. They believe the majority of people are stupid and think they do. The end game for all gun control advocates is banning and confiscation of all firearms. I don't believe for a second that there's any other agenda for them.

Actually they have a arm in the US to work around the sanctions. Kalashnikov in PA I believe. Last I heard, been a few years since I've looked it up.
