Operational needs

I drove 15-20 years in non air conditioned trucks. Trust me, I know very well what it's like. Plus, I can't deliver any packages from the truck. I do have to get out on occasion, you know.....

So, at what humidity is the heat index calculated at? Nobody seems to know, so I contend whatever works best for me.
It's a sliding scale 40% humidity at 80 degrees makes no difference. 40% at 100 degrees does. Because 40% humidity at 100 degrees is a lot more water vapor.

nowhere special
So you are saying it is at 40%?

If you're really mathematically inclined, there is an equation that gives a very close approximation to the heat index. However, this equation was obtained using a multiple regression analysis, and therefore, it has an error of ±1.3°friend.

Heat Index = -42.379 + 2.04901523T + 10.14333127R - 0.22475541TR - 6.83783 x 10-3T2 - 5.481717 x 10-2R2 + 1.22874 x 10-3T2R + 8.5282 x 10-4TR2 - 1.99 x 10-6T2R2

T - air temperature (friend)
R - relative humidity (percentage)

What is the heat index?
And the "Heat Index" feels like x° at what humidity? Because 100° at 10% feels a lot different than 100° at 80% humidity.

No. Do you understand how humidity percentage works?
