Its amazing that how many people have been fired for the same stupid ****, I seen Drivers fired for using the company's gas card for personnel use, stealing Verizon gift cards, Drugs for a second time after rehab, and a driver groping a customer's daughter on rte. The best one was a guy jacking up the rear end of the Pkg car and putting it in drive and leaving it running to increase his miles while he was home working on his house, this was before Gps and Telematics.

Just fri a driver was escorted out for stealing cell phones. How he was pinched? His mother in law activated it! He refused to resign and was charged 3 felony counts. SMH

Let's see: average cost of a cell phone without a contract....around $500.

Average cost of defending yourself against 3 felony charges PLUS the added costs of lost income....much more.

About a month ago there was a pick on my belt who was quitting to work somewhere else. So on his last day of work at UPS he asked someone to cover picking for him while he went to the bathroom. Come to find out he actually went outside to smoke a cigarette and our ft sup was out there at the same time. Needless to say he just let him go home on his last day there since he was quitting anyway.
