Just got my new insurance cards for the year.

Previous cards (BCBS)
  1. Emergency $0 copay
  2. Non-emergency $25 copay
  3. Office visits $10 copay
New cards (BCBS)
  1. Emergency $25.00
  2. Non-emergency $100
  3. does not state the co pay for office visit.
Anyone else seeing changes such as this?

I have BCBS and pay $0 for office visits, $0 for ER visit, have copays for perscription mostly like $5 but. Thru are local we get $600 a year to pay for copays dental stuff that isn't paid for.

Ou West we got a new vision plan book. Went from 2 pair glasses/contacts a year to 1 pair. They also shuffled the copay amounts around for vision related services like exams etc. Some services are better some worse. Mostly a wash for the wife and I. Still waiting for Health and dental plans which are seperate.

UPS can change vendors but our benefit levels and copays should remain the same in the event you get switched to a new vendor( this per the contract and was followed up by shop steward).

I was switched from BCBS to AETNA. My copays for the ER and the percentage I pay for office visits is on the new card and is the same as previously with BCBS. If you have seen a change and new amounts are higher I would talk to your business agent ASAP.
