are they able to take vacation during peak? (December?)

i can't imagine them having a period of "peak" during the year, you know.? lol

I can't answer with complete accuracy but I would think not. More runs = more trucks on the road = more chances of vehicular malfunction. Peak = all hands on deck.

We have a day shift and 2nd shift mechanic. Back in the day during peak they both worked day shift. Not sure if that is still the case.

Our mechanic gets called in to work a lot during peak and winter in general. Since we only have one mechanic, he is the only one you can call. He gets a lot of OT.
