The external one? This is news to me. Is it the cheap Luberfiner ones?Allison Trans filters have been failing at an alarming rate! Change around a year or suffer the RC!

So you're saying the genuine Allison filters are bad? Is there a PSR on it?I know, it sounds weird to say the Luberfiner is better. In this 1 instance so far that has been the case! All other Luberfiner products not so much.
Haven't needed to yet, but I will remember that.Workhorse 6.0 gas engines, when you replace the throttle body/mass air flow pigtails, apparently they should be soldered even though the pigtails come with butte connectors or else they tend to continue running like crap afterwards because of higher resistance.
Their reman 904s aren't so great either. This is a fantastic tip.

Guess they need a bulletin or step up the SIRD interval.Yup, the genuine Allison filter.
I found 1 PSR. The boss has a couple of emails with more examples from his road call conference calls.
They must be making them somewhere else or doing something different because our old automatic package cars never had these issues like the new 1's.
Torch the truck, workhorse parts inventory was bought out by ups, they are just a shell of whatever they once were lolDoes anybody here know the cure for the "retarder" fault with the Wabco ABS on Workhorse?
