Orion has me making more backs, residential at that if I were to follow it. Kind of like this, Deliver A few stops on David Dr, turnaround and deliver a stop on locust between David and Sharon, then deliver a few stops on Sharon, turnaround and continue up Locust. By doing it the Orion way it saves less the 1/10th of a mile. Rather then drive past David, deliver the locust stop between David and Sharon, turn on Sharon and deliver the entire Horseshoe then continue up Locust.
As a fellow driver said, "Should we follow Orion, or the DOK". DOK....take path of least resistance. Turning left over and over again on busy streets is not path of least resistance. That is a path of twice the resistance. Back only when necessary. Backing in 2 residential driveways is not backing only when necessary. You tell tell me to follow DOK, but yet I have to follow Orion that goes against the DOK. I have to run better then 85%, but can't be over 92%. Bunch of BS. How about you tell me exactly how you want me to do it.
How am I suppose to know that I am between 85% and 92%? Perhaps I should take a pad of paper and calculator. Then keep track of every time I break trace. Then do the calculations to determine where I am falling. Being that I am not all that great with math, I may be out there for several more hours. When I get called into office, I can say "you are the ones that are demanding me to be between 85% and 92%. You need to add a program that will tell me where I stand in real time so I know that I am in that 7% window allowance.
I really feel for the Sups that have to go around to drivers. "I have to talk to you. Why are you backing in residential driveways?" Me "because of Orion". Following day "why are you over the miles under trace" me "because you don't want me to back".
Signed,
Another good driver lost.
