How is Driver B ever going to learn if UPS won't let them...

First of all break out your contract and read your supplement. As rules very by area about this subject. Also talk to your steward...

However if you came in and they asked you do another route because you where the only one that knows it and you agreed you have no grievance as you agreed to do it..

If he was the only one who knew it and they told him he's doing it then he has a grievance.


Ups doesn't ask, they just instruct and threaten. If they asked and he said no, then they said "sorry we aren't asking anymore ", he has a seniority and bid route grievance.

They say that but then bust out a route 20 minutes before start time and screw the customers with late deliveries and early pickups... Yep... What's best for the company... Line of bs

A package is only late if it misses the commit. If they miss commits, you're right, the customer got screwed. Early pickups, we have pickup compliance, if you're out of the window we in management get nailed for it.

But hey, lets shove that extra routes worth of work down 2 other driver's throats. Better?
