Do they bring in the revenue the men do?

I believe the last womens’ World Cup brought in around $70 million compared to $4 billion for the mens’. While the women were paid less, they were actually paid like 3% more as a percentage of earnings than the men. This pay injustice stuff is amazing.

Next case on the docket: Why aren’t the WNBA’s top stars paid as much as Lebron James and Stephen Curry?

Actually it’s just bad business. US Soccer and FIFA could easily quadruple what they pay players and create a huge worldwide market.

The comparison to the WNBA is ridiculous. The number of girls in the world that grow up playing soccer is astronomical compared to those playing basketball.

Not many guys are out there trying to be Alex Morgan. But build a market for girls of all ages and the marketing becomes ridiculously simple with the added vision of fortune and glory.
