Standards of living havent risen since b4 carter.

he
was right
Have you considered that the majority of Americans own cars, big screen tv's, cellphones? That few starve? How many countries in the world can you name with similar stats? Americans don't have to be #1 in everything, just have a decent life for most. The system you support will never give that to us but you think it will bring prosperity to everyone. Not so and has never been so. Marx was wrong.

60% living paycheck to paycheck. many dont have 400$ for emergency. no shortage of low paying jobs. Unlike denmark, mcds in usa is not paying middle class wages. low union rate. youve been deindustrialized and financialized w debt.

That’s all you ever say, Italy, like it’s some great economic power house. Lol
america is the great economic power house, along with china, but the way "economic power house" is measured doesnt mean that the workers have high wages.

in regions of italy with anti capitalist worker run business, the wages are high.

Ur expectations are already very low judging by ur lack of rights.

Plus u think ur the best. if u think ur the best, then why try and be better? its expectation management
Did you always not like women or did something traumatic happen to make you join that other team?

McDonald's has never paid middle class wages. Living paycheck to paycheck isn't criminal Ricky. We all want better but in our system you have to strive to do better. You think everyone should be paid well with little effort. Doesn't work. Never has, never will.

And yet Italy is in such trouble economically they finally elected a conservative after decades of liberal leadership. That's the reality of Italy and quite a few other countries.

btw its superficial to think that if u elect a conservative things are going to be better. america has been electing nothing but right wingers for decades and look where u are, and btw they are all corrupt.

be more concerned whether a politician is honest or not, not whether theyre conservative or not.

if you want to make a politician honest, you need social movements like civil rights, womens rights, occupy wall st. this is the most important part. most american politicians are mediocre or evil.

There are social movements, then there's the nuts and bolts of running a country. It absolutely matters what policies a country's administration implements. Our government in the last two years has proven that you can't spend your way to prosperity as well as has proven that if an economy is driven by lower energy costs you can't seek to raise those costs without negatively impacting everyone. What you do is theorize about what ought to be but refuse to accept the reality. Blame it on corruption rather than admit your theories are impractical in the real world. Our government is mostly intact after the midterm election because too many voters refuse to accept that hard truth. They'd rather let the current government keep trying to get it right rather than face the harsh reality of fixing what's been broken. And there's no way to completely tell about honesty in Washington. Just observe the laws they create, the policies they implement, and judge accordingly.
