so @Turdferguson in 20 years?You gotta be like a 450 lb 70 something year old ...,,,
I totally understand why some people wear them. Just goes against the logic of the op.@joeboodog wears them.....
@Indecisi0nI tried stretching the hole manually but the socks are of good quality and my efforts availed me no results.
Anyway the tube is about 4 and 1/2 inches in diameter and I came back two days later when they were definitely dry and then put them on for another work day.
Success! I stretched them out permanently and my feetsies are no longer tired from pinched circulation.
I always stretched them over my shaft. Which coincidentally is also 4 1/2". Ohhhh, you said width. Never mind!
I had brand new 6 pack at start of summer. I'm down to 2 and a half pair. No idea where they go. I ask the wife ,who goes the laundry, she just gets mad and tells me she doesn't know.I forget where I put my socks.
I'd try and lose a lb or 80 if socks are pinching off your circulation.
You're telling me man.I had brand new 6 pack at start of summer. I'm down to 2 and a half pair. No idea where they go. I ask the wife ,who goes the laundry, she just gets mad and tells me she doesn't know.
You'd be the perfect runway model. If I lost 80 pounds, I would weigh 105 pounds.
105 pounds over a 5 11 frame wouldn't be too good.
LMFAO. I know right!!! Lmao. You're telling me man.
I was bitching about socks. Few weeks back. Says she doesn't know. All of the laundry is done. 3 days later my sock drawer is magically full. I'm all like. View attachment 147711
People wear support socks or hose that are really tight to do the opposite.
Don't listen to him brother. He is a hillbilly that went to high school with 17 other people.....Compression stockings are designed to be tightest at the ankles and get more elastic as they go higher . So the analogy doesn't quite apply here.
No sock is cutting of your circulation and making your feet tired (whatever that means) unless your feet look like a cows udder.Compression stockings are designed to be tightest at the ankles and get more elastic as they go higher . So the analogy doesn't quite apply here.
So they resemble 80's leg warmers now?Yes!!, another thread about UPS socks.
The current regime I am under has decided to enforce the rule about wearing them when wearing shorts. So knowing where and when to pick my battles, I have been complying.
However I quickly noticed how tight they were around the ankles or calves. (depending on which ones you wear) and how tired my feet were after my day of work.
I tried stretching the hole manually but the socks are of good quality and my efforts availed me no results.
I then decided to do something else. After washing them , instead of putting them in the dryer, I "put them on" a circular tube that just happened to be holding clorox wipes(no importance regarding what was in the tube).
Anyway the tube is about 4 and 1/2 inches in diameter and I came back two days later when they were definitely dry and then put them on for another work day.
Success! I stretched them out permanently and my feetsies are no longer tired from pinched circulation.
I post this tale for those who suffer from the same situation and offer a possible solution.
Dude I've done this!!!Get an old timer to give u a pair. Cut the top off. Wear it on top of the no shows.
yep mine too. Like my entire heel is showing. LolMy socks have so many holes in them I have to wear a smaller white sock under them.Just don't feel like dishing out $37.00 more dollars for a 6 pack.
I wear the stupid brown ones to PCM. Take them off at my first stop everyday. Have two pairs for the past four years. My socks have so many holes in them I have to wear a smaller white sock under them.Just don't feel like dishing out $37.00 more dollars for a 6 pack.
