Leave wallet in the back of the truck but always carry $20 bucks cash. This way you don't piss off the guy putting a gun in your face when you tell him you have no cash at all.

I never had any trouble with backwoods people and many were poor white trash. I also delivered to areas of inner city which were poor white trash and there it was just as bad any other ghetto except the color of their skin. It is something about inner city that creates or encourages bad behavior.

And for many of those people they are more likely to end up in jail or dead than working at a job. You can blame society or racism or any other excuse but it all boils down to the home (or lack of) where they should have been learned responsibility and the consequences of actions but didn't.
There was a huge break in society with the value of "family life" and values. It is a GD shame, but once it started it can not be stopped!
it does make you appreciate the life you have. Imagine never having grown up with someone who had a job, or knowing anyone that ever had a job. Or even knowing whatt a job is.[/quo

So most big cities are broke? That's news to me.

New York City - $110 Billion in debt
Chicago - $33 Billion in debt
Detroit - $18 Billion in debt

Many other cities are in the 10's of billions. Not to mention pension costs are exploding which will make this far worse.

Sadly, this is "news" to most people as they keep their heads in the sand and continue voting the way they do.

Broke? If only. NYC has to pay back $110 BILLION just to get back to broke (zero).

The US has to pay back $17,500,000,000,000.00 just to get back to broke.

Shhh..... Don't tell the republicans.

Despite overall Republican dominance, however, there are some cities and regions with strong Democratic power. Austin, the state capital, is a Democratic stronghold and a center of progressive political activism. El Paso and the Rio Grande Valley also remain loyal to the Democratic Party. In addition, the mayors of most major Texas cities, though running in "nonpartisan" races, are affiliated with the Democratic Party. The cities of Houston, San Antonio, Dallas, Austin, and El Paso all presently have elected mayors with Democratic ties, and have voted Democratic in recent statewide and federal elections. However, the suburbs of these cities remain heavily Republican.[citation needed]

What about Boston, where the economy has been consistently strong?

New York and Chicago are world class cities and New York is the economic center of the US. They aren't going anywhere.
