Trouble getting VOE (verification of employment) from HR

Has anyone else had trouble getting a verification of employment from the HR department ? I desperately need it for refinancing my mortgage. We have called and left messages, emailed them also. Any tips?

There's an 800 number that they can call for employment verification. If all else fails, you can always login online and get a copy of a paycheck.
