Last day is today of William's and Kate's visit to Canada . Every few years the royal family sends someone there to kick the tires and just to remind everyone about who actually owns the place and them.

Some have a date in the latter 19th century and some hold by two dates in the 20th century and some crackpots like me believe Canada never achieved independence from The Royal Crown . But there is no one holding the belief that Canada was a sovereign nation in 1812. No one but you.

I would normally say I'm German - Canadian.
But , just got DNA results back that many ancestors of mine are from the 1700's south eastern US.
(Probably not my dad's child).
But my DNA also proved I'm European.
