Hi, I'm a fairly new UPS employee who attends a community college here in my hometown. How does the UPS Earn and Learn work? Do I have to pay for school to be reimbursed or do I give UPS the amount of my full tuition + books and they pay for it through the online application? Thanks

You have to pay for your semester first. If you pass all your classes, UPS will reimburse you for the semester up to $2500. They will not give you money if you paid for school with a grant or scholarship. They will give you money if you paid via a loan.

The limit is $2500/semester, and $5000/year. $25000/lifetime.

My mistake. Yes, $5250 per year, so maybe $2625 per semester? Lifetime maximum is still $25,000, though.

Make sure your location actually offers Earn and Learn. Most don't for union hourlies.
