Not in the central, it is a paid holiday with forced air delivery for most buildings.

I was in the central and worked every New Years Eve when it fell during the week.
Made double time plus holiday pay.
Always tried to work 11 hours.

So how is it fair that monday thru friday drivers get to enjoy a 4 day weekend compared to t- sat who only get 3 ? And since your so educated on these type of issues where in thr contract does it explain this?

Ok so im a tues- saturday driver and apparently im scheduled to work tomorrow. From my understanding from past holidays us when a holiday lands on a monday you would get the tuesday off aswell and since there were holidays on both mon and tues i thought Wednesday would of been a off day aswell. For example, mon- fri drivers got the 4 day weekend and tues- sat drivers only get 3 day weekend? Im in the central btw

Lots of people worked.

Im working because apparently we are to have 55 routes in with 62 guys on seniority list

We had a sign up list for monday all voluntary but if needed they would have forced from bottom to up

Saw a 10 cube out on Monday in the area where I live. Must have had A LOT of air.

Nowhere... The language is not clear on this specific issue with a back to back holiday with one of the holidays being on a scheduled day off

It's a numerated Holiday.

You can be scheduled (and required) to work on those days.


Hence.... the premium pay.
