republican elected officials have dropped all pretenses about discussing or caring about policy. All they are offering voters is voter restrictions, bs culture war nonsense, and insane mass delusional conspiracy theories that they drum up, from potato head, to dr seuss, to a stolen election, to the Texas power grid being based on green energy, etc, all to feed republican voters desire to be told stories of the all power left that controls everything even the Texas power grid, and is out to destroy them and America.

Great stuff man. All Eyez and some of the posthumous releases have some annoying, poppy type stuff but I’m a fan of the entire catalogue.

The other thing that is on display for anyone who pays attention, is that a lot of American voters, but especially republican voters really dislike/hate a lot of other Americans and want public policy designed to avoid helping these imaginary underserving Americans. We can't get good government policy because of this sick mentality. Instead of simple bills where we just give money to people or better health care or access to better schools, we get these byzantine bills because Democrats are trying to avoid helping the "bad Americans" that a lot of voters but especially republican voters hate. It just doesn't make sense to me and it results in worse legislation that helps fewer people and offers non optimal aid.

This stuff is bad for the nation, because unless or until republicans start losing political power, this insanity that they are displaying will hurt a lot of Americans. Again, it is very obvious that republicans will try to nullify election results based on non existent charges of voter fraud, they will try to throw out the votes of hundreds of thousands or millions of voters if they get the chance. They are actively trying to get fewer and fewer people to vote. And they are dedicated to a bunch of mass delusional insane conspiracy theories, the main one being an all powerful left that controls everything in America and is out to destroy them and the nation. For example, the governor of Texas a republican got on tv and said the Texas power grid was ruined by green energy, which means he was telling republican voters in Texas and the nation that even when republicans have complete control of a state for decades, the all powerful left still controls their power grid.
This kind of stuff is detached from reality and justifies extreme behavior from republicans. It is very dangerous stuff. The best case is that trump's ego causes him to sink the republicans like he did in GA and they lose political power, that's very very very unlikely though.

Republicans have been crying about paying the debt, only when they’re in the minority, my entire life. We haven’t made any progress on it and it doesn’t appear that the bond market cares much if at all. The Republican position is a death cult crying about the coming debt apocalypse. It’s always just around the corner.

-raise the debt when theyre in office
-use it as an excuse to cut programs when theyre out.
B.S., Newt Gingrich and his Republican controlled Congress balanced the budget. And Democrats worked feverishly to try to oust him. Show me a Republican president who tried to be responsible and I'll show you a Democratic Congress who refused to work with him unless he gave them the spending they wanted. That goes all the way back to Reagan if not beyond.

Republicans controlled the presidency and both houses of congress way back in 2017. They ballooned the debt. Facts don’t care about your feelings.
