donald failed to achieve his own self-proclaimed goals of reducing the trade deficit with China, controlling the national debt or strengthening the American manufacturing sector. Other than these minor setbacks, he was a huge success.

Democrats failed to work with Donald on achieving these things. They were too busy blowing tax dollars on Russian conspiracy theories.
Trump is 75 years old not in perfect health by any measure , and damn near died from a disease that required a purely experimental drug to save him. You can spin it any way you like, but Trump's tax cuts increased Federal revenue. As someone said here, I don't recall who, we didn't have a revenue problem, we had a spending problem.
Difference is that as businesses recovered from 2008 they rehired millions laid off. Trump's economy created new jobs. The kind of jobs Obama said weren't ever coming back.

"Trump Digs Coal" Remember that one? Remember when he went into the coal belt and told those dumb and clueless people the lie that he would bring back coal jobs? During his term in office not only did his lie of getting their jobs back fail to materialize the coal industry lost another 900 jobs.
Between 2011 and 2019 290 coal fired power plants shut down and last year another 13 were targeted for closing over the next 2years.
Apparently what you can't get through your head is that coal is no longer the lowest cost generation fuel and the old coal fired plants that take a battalion size group of workers to run it have simply become too expensive to operate. Which explains why all coal fired power plants will be off the grid by 2040. This explains why when he took his dog and pony show out to coal country the people who didn't know what was happening to the industry at large just ate it up while the people who knew the score sat back and laughed at the spectacle .
You once said that you might like to retire in West Virginia. Great idea because by that time you're likely to have the entire state all to yourself.

You failed to mention that it was the Obama administration that hammered the coal industry. You failed to mention that fracking produced a huge amount of natural gas as a byproduct which made it possible to replace coal to some extent with a cleaner burning fuel. And 900 jobs compared to what? What Trump did was slow the rate of job loss. There's a reason WV went from solid blue to solid red. And you blue staters even want to stop fracking and burning natural gas for electricity. Y'all better figure out what you're able to live with because there won't be enough solar panels and windmills to meet projected demand. By the way lithium batteries almost stop working in very cold temps. Without coal, natural gas, heating oil how are people supposed to heat their homes?

And while you worry and fret about the influx of illegals you never say a word about the millions of super brains we have to go recruit and bring into the states because our education system for one reason or another can't turn them out fast enough to keep up with the demand for STEM proficient professionals.
I was specifically talking about Trump and coal jobs as you well know. And it's a known fact that the engineers, etc brought in to Silicon Valley on special visas work for less. I guess those liberal socialist minded Big Tech exec's are just brutal capitalists at heart. And it's not millions and in no way excuses letting in millions of people illegally.
