2 arrival scans

    i got a shipment comin to me off amazon, why does it say theres 2 arrival scans in indianapolis?

    They scanned it twice

    Maybe the first was a logical scan and the second a physical scan. Just a guess.

    In our building packages are scanned at the unload,through the building,and again as it goe`s down the slide into the outbound trl.

    Often the first scan is a presumptive scan, that is, the trailer in which the package was loaded, has arrived at it's next destination, we presume it is inside. The second scan is an actual scan when the package exits the trailer.
