What about pointing out that he’s bad a math? Trump has about 40% support plus or minus a couple points. That’s for everything he does and says, the support doesn’t change. This dude claims that 40=75 not a good argument.
And I completely missed where he mentioned Trump.

The poor looking polling numbers didn't keep Trump from being elected in 2016 and they won't in 2020. Moderates like myself want to vote Trump out without having to buy into what the hard left is selling. Their racial hysterics are not necessary or helpful to the Democratic party.

Honestly Democrats have one candidate.
They're just humoring the Bernie types so they don't cry about losing to the moderate like last time.

Relax.

If he equates labeling Trump’s comments as racist to calling 50% of the population racist, he’s making the connection. His 75% is coming from thin air. Conservatives like to believe they are a larger percentage of the population than they are. They have a majority of political power but are a minority of the population.

I think they have 3-4 viable candidates. Biden is not good at presidential campaigning, maybe he’ll get better but it’s not looking great. I can easily see someone else beating him in the primary.

Same here. The hard left will be the undoing of the Democrats and the hard right could prove highly destructive to the Republicans even though it does represent Trump's base. As for Biden if he's the nominee I believe that come election time you'll see a physically mentally and emotionally worn out Joe Biden who will win the popular vote but lose the college Keep in mind the Democrats do have a 12 million advantage in registered voters and a team of Joe Sestak and Tom Steyer you know that might make a bit of noise if they get organization and money behind them .

You really got 'Trump' out of that?? Read it again.
"...a losing political strategy..."

BTW, Trump WON in 2016. TTKU

I don’t think the Democratic candidates are gonna be able to moderate this time. Too many candidates are running on Bernie-esque ideas that’d be hard to just drop and forget about after the primaries are over.

And even if they could do that, there’s too much tape of what they’ve said that Trump will run over and over in ads. Murderers to vote! Illegal immigrants no problem! Etc etc.

Nope. The literal definition of the word most is a majority. Why does it matter? Trump is unpopular, that’s not debatable.
Very popular with Republicans. I wonder if in the end a lot of Democrats will either stay home or vote for Trump? People vote with their pocketbooks, and the Dems are proposing trillions in new taxes.

Only 25% of the population identifies as Republican. There’s no chance anyone that identifies as a Democrat will vote for Trump. Do you really think he’s picked up more voters than he’s alienated over the last 3 years?

I see full stadiums at his rallies. Biden often gets less than 200. Do you have a decent candidate waiting in the wings?

No one is debating Trump has a rabid base. Do you think he’s picked up more support than he’s lost?
He was a gamble in 2016. A proven commodity in 2020. If he loses it'll be because Democrats are so rabid against him they'll turn out in record numbers. Or possibly they manage to nominate a respected businessman. Mark Cuban comes to mind.
