The judge's public release tonight of Flynn's 302 is not a good sign for him regarding how it'll go for him tomorrow. Information within it will be a contributing factor in his sentencing, and the judge wanted to give the finger to Flynn's team for their late in the game antics about Flynn not knowing he had to be told not to lie to FBI agents, etc etc.
And, Mueller's sentencing recommendation has changed from:
"a sentence at the low end of the guideline range—including a sentence that does not impose a term of incarceration—is appropriate and warranted."
to, in his response to Flynn's recent memo:
"a sentence at the low end of the guideline range."
We shall see tomorrow.
There are many irregularities with this case that should disturb us all.
Comey circumvented procedures and back doored Flynn bypassing the established procedure of going through the White House counsel first. that in itself is somewhat dishonest on the part of Comey.
McCabe called Flynn and told him he did not need an attorney for this meeting that in itself was dishonest.
The FBI investigators that spoke with Flynn agreed that Flynn was very forthcoming and was not trying to be evasive nor dishonest when they interviewed him. those notes are now missing from that initial assessment
7 months later the 302 is finally written and that one which you reference is clearly not as complementary to Flynn as the initial 302 would have been that showed Flynn was not lying therefore what happened to the initial 302?
It's clear that at some point Mueller's team talk to Flynn after the initial assessment that Flynn was not lying and then convinced Flynn that he was lying and that there were repercussions that would include Flynn and his son if he did not cooperate and agree that he had been lying.
this case clearly shows that it's okay for the FBI to lie, coerce and intimidate a confession but it's not okay for the interviewee to lie to the FBI there's a double standard here that's not being addressed.
