I love all of the people saying it’s too expensive now for them to invest. It was 9k a week ago now it’s almost 14k.

Percent gains matter not the price.
What do people even use bitcoin for besides shady transactions?

The only time I pick up bitcoin is if I’m going to be placing some bets online.

This isn’t 2013 it’s not really used for shady transactions because it’s use is easily tracked.

It’s used as a store or value like gold. And merchants are slowly coming around to accepting it as payment

It still circumvents gambling laws allowing you to cash out on online casinos then to your bank from your bitcoin account.

Other than that I really got no need for the stuff

I’m a bitcoin skeptic. Not really a huge fan, I made a tiny amount of money on it, couple hundred bucks when it shot up to around 20k.

Seems like a pump and dump scheme and way over valued at the moment.

If someone wants to find and prosecute you it doesn’t do * for you. It leaves a very clear trail same as a bank account.

im not denying there is a trail, but it certainly circumvents you not getting your winnings or trying to cash a casino check at your bank.

All the bank knows is that you are transferring funds from a bitcoin platform. They don’t know how the funds got there, that’s up for the IRS or whoever else if you decide not to pay your taxes on the winnings.

People have been saying that forever. It’s still around. Now td ameritrade and fidelity are offering trading in it. College endowments are investing in it. It’s a new asset class.
