New hub in Atl is hiring only 22.4s and lots of em.
Local integrad class every week.
Bids are up. No part timers, or very few want to drive at all. Most are saying with no 9.5 protection, weekend work, and less pay that the bids will remain vacant.
How else will they get the percentage? Not sure what you’re asking. If they can only hire 22.4 based on percentage, how are they hiring only 22.4 and not replace RPCD positions?
Yes.If they don't get people to bid, won't they just go to the outside?
According to...."elected officials". Lol.It's the best contract ever......

Apparently I pulled the wool over your eyes...I was being sarcastic
Ridiculous simply ridiculousWe can't even get to the 22.4 list because we can't find enough rpcds. Can't wait to see theshow coming our way at peak.

In our hub nobody signed the 22.4 position. They're just grabbing people that signed the RPCD list.
Just put up a list in my Building, most PT do not want any part of Delivery from what I am hearing
We have a signup list. Been up for a couple of weeks or more. No one has signed up that I know of....

That can’t be... I’m told all of the time about the line of people waiting to take my job.
People don’t want to work 12 hour days and weekends for less pay? I’m shocked.
I'd be willing to take a cut in compensation if my workload decreased dramatically.
I never said this was a union problem (although working. Premium days with no OT protections should come at a premium not a discount) the union has nothing to do with all of the off street people that don’t want this job either.Look at all the new post's in UPS Discussions.
"Do I have to be able to drive a stick ? Can I only work 2 days a week ?
I'm brand new, and they are mean to me. I got fired.... need some help."
They want to work less.... and are willing to give up negotiated benefits.
@Brownslave688
I still maintain.... its a member problem and not the Union leadership.
What other divisions in the Teamsters, do you hear this malarkey ?
-Bug-
We also need to keep in mind the union is there to collectively bargain in the members best interests and best they can fulfill their wants.Look at all the new post's in UPS Discussions.

If I would work a Sunday here it would be double time for me.Agreed.
A Saturday or Sunday, is not a "premium" day.
Unless.... it's a 6th or 7th punch.
