We had a part-time supervisor steal about 160 handguns out of my hub in the mid 1990s. Shortly after that, handguns had to be shipped by air. I don't know if that's the current procedure. I know rifles are shipped ground. When I first started driving, I had a warehouse on my area that shipped hunting and fishing supplies to department stores. Before hunting season started, there were a few times when I filled up a P-1000 with nothing but cases of rifles and ammo. I had so much weight on that car it would hardly go.
