No telematics must be a perk of being a FedEx driver because they always do itSure you can, you’ll just get on some report the next day!!

I disagree with this practice as a viable solution.Air conditioner in my pkg car worked great!
Two open doors and as fast as I can drive.
I disagree.Leave the door openI agree with you.
IMO You are overly sympathetic to corporate.MyTripisCut and Integrity![]()
Not kidding here. One of the fdx drivers I see, leaves bulkhead, back door and side door open. And the truck running. For long periods of time while he's out sprinting off deliveriesNo telematics must be a perk of being a FedEx driver because they always do it
That is a corporate type response.Man up or quit!
Didn't you have all that gear on to insulate you from the heat?
LmfaoSure did. Held the sweat in to give us better cooling
Once you are sweaty what's the difference? That is a corporate type response.
Could be worse. People coulda been shooting at ya
I think the company is looking at the maintenance costs and fuel consumption.I drove a W900 (FedEx) that came new w/ AC for a full summer with the door open, running an ave of 125 stops. AC in a pkg car works. All of the new FedEx trucks come with AC from sprinters to the 900's. It is cheaper to buy w AC than have it taken out. UPS is stupid thinking they are saving money.
Well said. I agree.I drove a W900 (FedEx) that came new w/ AC for a full summer with the door open, running an ave of 125 stops. AC in a pkg car works. Well we know they aren’t looking out for the drivers......duh!!!I think the company is looking at the maintenance costs and fuel consumption.
Sounds like you need to get back to your shrink. AC would work better in a package car than cooling off bullet holes. If I had AC in Iraq, I wouldn’t have caught a couple rounds. You want to talk about hot, that’s what a round feels like. I wished I had AC to have cooled those down.
I believe it is a decision based solely on cost.I think the company is looking at the maintenance costs and fuel consumption.

Not enough but I don't fear heat stroke in 100+ weather. How much does a Fed Ex Driver make per hour?
Got that rightWell we know they aren’t looking out for the drivers......duh!!!
That's how corporations work.I believe it is a decision based solely on cost.
This is wrong.
