How is it uncalled for? I'm half your age but I still feel beat most of the time but I rarely admit it to people at work.
I'm reasonably sure this was made in jest. Most of his posts are funny like that.

What I meant was a lot of drivers feel they are so beat up they wonder if its just because they are too old or out of shape. However most of the times that's not the case. I was trying to point out that I am younger and in shape but with todays dispatches I am still getting smoked. Your not alone.

The worst part of the article in the contract. More than likely, they may have to create a position for you if they refuse to work with your route. You seem very reasonable and far from an ass so I think if you stay reasonable you may get to avoid anything grievance based. But on the other hand if they won't work with you then you do have some recourse. I know they blow routes out nowadays and do some of the stupidist things I've ever seen a company do with ORION. If you absolutely love the route your on then be patient and hope relief comes from a manager change or a manager change of heart. If that doesn't happen, then there's nothing lost filing a grievance. Just so long as you try other avenues first. Or you can take it easy on your body and take a 22.3 job if they create one for you. Exactly and file 9.5 if u want less work. Yes people have filed many 9.5 grievances all over the country and won.

I'm not milking it. I'm pacing myself. You can't go all out and expect to work this job 30+ years. I also can't work an 11 hour day at the same pace I can an 8.

My center manager pulled me into the office a few weeks ago because he was "concerned with my SPORH" He told me according to my records in 2010 and 2011 I was running 2 stops an hour more than I am now.
I pointed out very quickly that we weren't working 55 plus hours a week in 2010 and 2011 either,it makes a BIG difference.
