Already out of trucks!

I could be wrong but I think only fuel is the driver’s responsibility here. I have not yet seen any driver open the hood of their car. I would be afraid of getting in trouble for doing anything seen as mechanical. I was peeling some gunk out from the tread of a tire one time and got yelled at by a car wash guy for stealing work from the mechanics.
Same.
We only put fuel in the pc in my building.
No adding oil, or any other fluids.
I've checked the oil once just for kicks.

Has checking fluid levels been removed from a proper pre trip? Years ago adding oil was a daily part of the job on some package cars.
Never was informed we had to check anything during pretrip.
Even our most senior drivers don't.
We have a guy in the mornings check the fluids before we leave.
I don't know what his job title is but he does everything from checking fluids to bringing out trucks to people who has broke down.

here we go again, someone bragging about having car washers

my depot has none. My ,p5 has months of garbage from preloaders on the floor. Packs of fast food, random papers and 3inches of dust.

The one thing the car washers rarely do is actually wash or clean anything. They mostly just park and rearrange. Funny though I am a cover driver and any car that I have for the day never has any garbage in it by the time I punch out!

Sometimes we will hose out the back of cars for our buddies or if asked politely. All of this can be blamed on current management who don't care if we work or sit and drink coffee.

Honestly they seem to always be busy here. The building is too small and there are always cars to be moved around. The only guy I see who looks completely relaxed all the time is the guy who is in charge of fueling the feeder tractors.

It's still a method but we're told it's not our job. We actually have a automotive guy who walks around each morning checking and filling.

Funny how it says "if it's your responsibility"
I don't have any issues putting fluids in the car I'll be driving.
Have them in close proximity and I'll gladly do so.
I'm not gonna walk half a mile to the shop to retrieve said items though.

when i had a rental, i could go to my gas station of choice and get points.

Don't see the problem. Free money.

I made sure to drive it really hard on accelerations and on the highway. Often put it in manual mode to rev it hard on every little move.
LP had a chat with me about this...be careful

Burn up a motor because you didn’t want to walk a half mile to the shop while being paid and let us know how it works out
